Also, don’t think that Auction websites will make you rich, because they won’t. Unless you can buy your products for pennies and sell for pounds, you will be lucky to break even and  if you do make a ‘small’ profit who the heck wants to be wrapping parcels, carrying them to the post office and then stand queuing in the Post Office 3 times a week. – Been there – Done that – Hated it.

So what is this website all about?  And what will it do for you?

So where do we start?

WILL YOU BE A MILLIONAIRE?
Before I go on, let’s make it clear, your website itself won’t earn you a penny, it’s a fact. The dotcom bubble has well and truly burst.
What will earn you money is advertising, selling other peoples products through advertising links and joining a few FREE membership websites that offer money for doing simple tasks on the internet.This simple combination is how I earn my £350-£400 every month.

MY BEST TIP.
Always try your hardest to buy things like domain names and software in dollars, no matter what the economic climate is like you will always get more for your money if you buy in dollars.

DECIDE ON YOUR WEBSITE
So let’s start at the beginning, firstly you will need a website. Your website doesn’t have to win awards for design and doesn’t have to be full of bells and whistle to make money. If you have a website that is of interest to somebody, they will read it no matter what it looks like and don’t worry about the actual website design and building, this is simple to do with the aid of on line ‘click and build’ website creator tools ( I will talk about these shortly).

Finally decide on the subject of the site, it could be about a popular computer game, mother and baby advise, gossip about your favourite stars or maybe you want to tell everybody about your hobby, the list is endless.

WEB HOSTS.
So now you have chosen your website content you will need some space on the internet for your website to sit. This is known as hosting and the people that provide the space are known as web host companies. Host companies basically have a bank of servers (big computers) sat in a room somewhere and they give you a small amount of space on their servers for you to put your website on. You can search the internet and come up with lots of host companies but I always think the best thing is RECCOMENDATION and my 3 favourite web hosts are.

HostCabin – These guys offer very cheap monthly hosting for around $3.95 (£2.60) and at the moment they are also giving away 6 months free hosting. They also register you a domain name (WWW name) for only $5.00 (£3.40) per year.

Lonex Web Hosting – Again, a very reliable company who start with monthly hosting packages at only $4.95 (£3.30) and they also offer you a free domain  name (WWW name).

Ultra Webhosting – These guys offer an awesome package if you intend to host a lot of websites. They are a little more expensive, but their service speaks for itself. Monthly hosting starts at $7.95 (£5.30) and they register domain names (WWW names) for $13.95 (£9.40) per year, still very cheap.

All of these host companies have very simple ‘click & build’ web site builder software applications which are embedded into your server administration control panel. In fact it is very similar to using Microsoft Word. You simply choose the design of your website from a list of template designs, then insert your text and images, finally click save and you are on line, it really is as simple as that.

WARNING: Don’t use companies that offer free hosting; I made that mistake to start with. Stick with paid hosting at a small cost, it will pay dividends in the end and mean you have 100% control of your website, web address and web content.

SIMPLE TOOLS THAT CAN HELP.
Ok, so now you have got yourself on line you are going to start to wonder what else you can do with your administration control panel or as it is more commonly known the C Panel and to be quite honest it would take months of reading or hundreds of pounds in college courses to learn it all. But as you start to get hooked on your site you will want to develop it further and need some knowledge of your C Panel.

Well I started with help from a guy called Richard Mortimer, he offers a complete video training series for only $7.00 (£4.89) with a 60 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. So if you decide to ask for your money backt after 60 days, well that’s up to you. But he taught me enough to be putting websites like this on the internet and it was $7.00 (£4.89)well spent in my opinion.

WHAT IS SEO? (MORE TOOLS)
SEO or Search Engine Optimization is the art of getting your website listed on the major search engines.  I have seen companies offering all sorts of promises to get you to the top of Google, Yahoo and the likes for next to nothing in cost, but trust me these companies don’t work. I have already made that mistake. You will also see companies selling automated software that submits your website to search engines and directories. Again I wasted a whole lot of money on software packages and they didn’t work fully and didn’t reflect the cash returns I was actually getting. In fact I feel a bit of a fool telling you, but I purchased some software called IBP (Internet Business Professional) for $620 (£400). Yes I know I was a fool but I thought that by buying the most expensive I would get the best results. This wasn’t the case and it took a lot of work to get that money back. In the end I found 2 products that for me actually work and I continue to use them today.

SEO Elite: I’ve seen products that claimed to do amazing things come and go. SEO Elite is not just another scam. It does what it claims to do, and it does it well and it does it quickly. You can literally install the software on your PC and put it to productive use in a matter of minutes, submitting your website to the major search engines. There aren’t many pieces of software out there that can claim that and most of them are simply too complicated and it only costs $47.00 (£30.00) and DON’T FORGET once you have it, you have it for life and can use it on as many of your websites as you like.

WEB2 SUBMITTER: Since the release of the Web2submitter, it has been the answer to many a webmaster or website owner’s dream. Web2submitter is semi-automatic and more than halves the time it takes to make multiple submissions to your favourite social networking and social media websites. With this software you will never need to search for places to advertise again. Easily submit multiple websites to at least 3500 directories.  Like SEO ELITE it only costs around $47.00 (£30.00) and is a perfect complement to SEO ELITE.

Once you have these 2 products you will start to get regular hits on your website and that is when the money starts rolling in. Because as I said at the start. You don’t make money from your website, you make money from people buying products and clicking on advertisements which are on your website.

GETTING VISITORS TO YOUR SITE WHILST MAKING MONEY.
Even though you have submitted your website to all the search engines and directory sites you still need to get visitors to your site without spending a fortune on marketing. One of the best ways to do this is by using a company called Click sense. Click sense offer advertising campaigns starting at 1cent (around 1/2p). Click sense members and advertisers join for free and are then paid a small amount of money for clicking on your website. They must also stay on the website for at least 30 seconds. This gives you not only a chance to sell products or get advertising clicks, but also means that your site is getting hits. Once you start getting regular hits you move up the search engine rankings. So a $10.00 (£6.00) campaign can generate you 1000 genuine visitors. So if you allocate around $35.00 (£20.00) a month to Click Sense campaigns you can generate 3500 visitors to your website guaranteed. Another good website to advertise on is Gumtree they offer free advertising in many categories and the site has high traffic levels.

ADVERTISING OTHER COMPANIES.
Ok so advertising made simple. You can probably see on my page some advertising blocks scattered around, these are what make you money because every time one of the ads catches the visitor’s eye they will click on it. So let’s say you have  5000 visitors a day and say 5% of those visitors click on an advertisement, then you get paid by the advertiser it’s that simple. The rates can vary so there are no guarantees. But realistically one website can earn you as much as £20-£50.00 A fortnight and if you have a lucky day you can earn that in one day. But if you multiply this by 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20 websites the advertising revenue can really start to roll in.

 

USE GOOGLE ADSENSE ADVERTISING.
Everybody raves about Google Adsense and you can understand why. They pay a decent commission and usually advertise products or items which relate to your own website content which surprisingly can be of benefit. They do have some crazy terms and conditions though so be careful and remember no matter how tempted you get do not click on your own Google ads you or else will be BANNED.
TIP: To start just go for a simple banner style advertisement that will sit at the top of your web page

INSERTING ADSENSE CODE INTO YOUR WEBSITE.
Right so you have signed up with Google and after the sign up procedure they have given you some code to insert into your website – What do you do now?
It’s easy really and I will explain so simply that you will have your add code inserted in minutes.
Firstly go to your C Panel located on your host site and go to the edit webpage functions. Within the edit function you will see an option to edit in HTML. Chose this option and your page will be displayed in lots of fancy HTML code. Looks a little baffling hay? Well that is what those web designers want you to think. How else do you think web designers make their money?

TIP: Copy and paste all of the original HTML code into notepad, word pad or word. That way if things go wrong, you can simply copy and paste your original HTML code back to your website.

At the top of the HTML code you will see the following or a similar entry:

Now save your website and visit it, don’t see your add? Press F5 on your keyboard, this will fully refresh your browser.  That’s it done; your advertisement is in place.
Once you have a basic grasp of where to insert your first ad, you can then mess around inserting different add codes throughout your website.
REMEBER, ALWAY BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL HTML BEFORE YOU START TINKERING.

WHAT IS AN AFFILATE PROGRAM?
Let’s keep this simple, Affiliate marketing programs are a method of promoting products in which you are financially rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, and/or sale provided through your website. It is a modern variation of the practice of paying a finder&apos;s fee for the introduction of new clients to a business. There are hundreds of affiliate programs out here so I am going to just touch on 2 that I use.
The biggest and most popular program has to be Amazon. They offer you the chance to build your own store with them using a very simple set up procedure. You can sell just about anything that Amazon lists from DVD’s, books, electrical items and loads more. You then add a HTML link from your Amazon store to your website (using C PANEL) and if somebody buys from your store, you make a small commission. What is great about this is that you don’t handle any stock or have to dispatch any items. Amazon does everything for you. Take a look at my Amazon store to give you a better idea.

The second method method is to find companies that allow you to promote and sell their products for a commision. So you list one of their products and if it is purchased through your website, then you get paid a commision. Take a look at this product which I am selling here.

PAYPAL DONATIONS.
Firstly let’s make one thing clear, people don’t very often donate to your website even though you may offer some great information or products. I probably make around £2-£10 a month in donations from this site with my &apos;buy me a beer campaign&apos; and I run this campaign on my other sites. Most of these donations come from my regular visitors who keep coming back to grab bits of information and simply want to show their appreciation by buying me a beer.
Setting up a donations button is very simple to do. Firstly Login into your PayPal account and go to “Merchant Tools”. Now scroll down, there is a link named “Donations“, Click it.
Now following the on screen instructions and you’re done. A HTML code will now be generated, as with your ADBRITE and Amazon code copy and paste the PAYPAL HTML code into your website through C PANEL. You will now be able to receive donations.

OTHER INCOME STREAMS ON THE INTERNET.
There are other genuine income streams on the internet that don’t cost you any money and can make you small amounts of revenue. These small amounts of revenue soon begin to add up and before you know it you are adding an additional $50-$100 (£30-£60) a month to your already growing revenue.
As mentioned earlier, join Click Sense for FREE and kill your time on the internet clicking on other people’s website. You can do it whilst you are working on your own websites and you can earn anything between 1c (1/2p) - $4.00 (£3.00) per ad you click on.

Another great method to earn additional income is by completing on line surveys. Yes it can be boring but if you allocate 2-3 hours a week doing this you can earn around $20-$100.00 (£13-£60.00) a month. I would personally recommend these 3 on line survey companies who have the best payouts and the quickest surveys.

 

MY LATEST VENTURE.
My latest venture is called Health Biz In A Box. Basically You pay around $15.00 (£10.00) a month and they give you a fully automated health website which sells health related products. The good thing about this is just like Amazon all of the goods are dispatched by HBIB hence you simply need to advertis the site (remember the SEO software) and you get a paid very high commision for products you sell.
